PRN
I write and record solo projects under the name PRN. PRN, short for 'pro re nata', is a term I encountered during my work in care and refers to an intervention, be it therapeutic or medical, administered to somebody when absolutely necessary. The literal translation from Latin is 'for the thing; born'. To me, music is a form of PRN. For whatever state of mind, feeling, or emotional need, music serves to augment, relieve, concentrate or accentuate. For the whatever the thing, music is born.
White Heath
I am a member of the alt-rock group White Heath and have had the pleasure of recording and performing with them since 2006. Songwriting credit for this music is shared across current and former members of the group. You can stream our album "Take No Thought For Tomorrow" on the Spotify player, and watch a selection of our videos including the Green Party's 2011 Scottish election party political broadcast featuring our track "Sunday in Fragments" and the Cosmic Joke produced video for "7.38am".
I directed and edited the videos to 'Ahnen' and "The City At The End Of The Road'.
